We are redefining the model of the cities, which is now focused on some key concepts like sustainability <\/strong>and connectivity<\/strong>. The city of Barcelona is following this global trend.<\/p>\n

The 22@district started as a government initiative to transform 200 hectares into a productive, innovative and strategic area<\/strong>. Its intention was to base the city’s development on talent. Today, the area is a hub for international companies, many of them are technology start-ups, which have found in this area a perfect ecosystem for accelerating and scaling their business models. The possibilities offered by this district, both professionally and in terms of life, are hard to match.<\/p>\n

A right decision<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to the efforts of the public and private sectors, Barcelona has become the digital hub of southern Europe<\/strong>, according to data from the latest Digital Talent Overview Report<\/a>, published by Barcelona Digital Talent.<\/p>\n

The city is becoming more and more attractive for companies, both local and foreign and the 22@ is the main attraction. Green areas, restaurants and local shops are all located just a few steps from the Mar Bella beach. It is not the city centre, but this is one of its great charms. The structure of the neighbourhood is like a village, with many pedestrian streets and there are also schools and higher education centres, such as the Universitat Pompeu Fabra and the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya<\/strong>. It is also very well connected by public transport to emblematic points of the city such as Plaza Catalunya and Arc de Triomf<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The area encourages the synergies<\/strong> between organisations. Many of them are located in new or renovated buildings<\/strong> that respond to a new demand, that requires sustainability, innovation, health and wellbeing certificates.<\/strong> Colonial promotes the adaptability of the buildings that can offer solutions to the day-to-day challenges of both companies and people.<\/p>\n

A solid trend<\/strong><\/p>\n

In conclusion, the 22@ area is the perfect location for a company that seeks to grow and looking for a young, dynamic evolving environment<\/strong>.\u00a0 Over the last 20 years, the area has continued to grow, bringing together companies from all over the world.<\/p>\n
